We get some scanning done with networked Canon imagerunner copiers.
They also function as a scanner but they are not accessed from Citrix.
They scan and email a PDF (or tiff, or whatever) to the user via
exchange.

Someone once posted about a network scanner device but I never tried it
out myself. http://www.netcore.com.tw/product.htm Scan Share Pro I
think it is called.

Not exactly adding a scanner to in Citrix but it might solve your
problem another way.

Sorr, I do indeed mean a flat-bed scanner. I may also mean a high-end
thin client, if that's what's necessary. Personally, I think it's a
stuid idea, but my clietn insisted I look into it...

Guys, I think he means a scanner.. you know, like a flatbed scanner for
sca=3D3D nning documents and photos? :)

In my extremely limited knowledge of thin clients, i would have thought
thi=3D3D s to not be possible.. perhaps on the very highest end clients
running xp e=3D3D mbedded or whatever, but certainly not on the vast
majority of hardware?

A client wants to use a scanner with a thin client;
A) Is this possible?
B) Where should I go to look further?
