Actually... just change permissions on the Intuit keys in HKLM. You don't want to give users elevated privileges for everything to make QB work. :) It will run just fine in Citrix/TS.=20 Roger -----Original Message----- From: Lucas Boyken [mailto:lboyken@xxxxxxxxx]=20 Sent: Thursday, June 12, 2003 8:35 AM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: QB in TS It isn't the best thing to do. We have this app installed on several TS installations. However, to get it to install correctly is a gamble, as it sometimes comes up with weird errors. However, with that said...Yes, you can get it to work in a W2K/TS environment. I don't know about Citrix though. One thing to keep in mind, make sure that the users needing access to the app have Power User rights in the Domain. If they don't, QB starts to crab and won't let you open it. It comes up with some kind of privileges error. Lucas W. Their knowledgebase is practically useless, and the powers that be are interested in providing it to our users. I did find one article, <http://www.quickbooks.com/support/faqs/qbw2002/124603.html> http://www.quickbooks.com/support/faqs/qbw2002/124603.html, and it doesn't sound like they even understand the purpose of TS.
