FYI, Sunbelt does not make Remote Administrator, it's made by a company
called FamaTech (www.famatech.com)

I use RA 2.1 here and it is a great product but the next revision (3.0)
has been in development for over a year and keeps getting pushed back.
There are some major flaws in RA, in particular high CPU usage, but this
can be somewhat controlled by lowering the screen refresh interval.

ANY remote product will work, all you need to do is port forward on the
Netgear router.

If you want a web based solution, you can use Webex, or GoToAssist.com
or GoToMyPC.com. All have very different pricing structures.

VNC or Sunbelt-Software's RemoteAdministrator (my favorite). One is
free and not too secure, the other is inexpensive and quite secure. All
you have to do is configure port forwarding on the NetGear box and
you're in. I use RA to manage my church's network from home or work.

        OK, wayyy off topic.
I need to be able to remote contorol a couple
of PC's thru the Internet. These PC's are connected
via DSL and are behine a NetGear DSL router which is
also acting as the DHCP server. In fact, the PC that
I will be contorlling them with is likewise set up.

I have the IP address that the ISP assigned, which is now
assigned to the DSL router. And obviously the IP addresses
on the inside for the PC's are public addresses (192.168.0.x)

Does anyone know of a product or method that will let me get
to these PC's? It would be nice to do maintenance on them
from home instead of having to drive over there.
