Well, if we're going for first IT experiences, my Mum worked as a Systems analyst for IBM for 35 years, and I used to spend the summer holidays playing games on the mainframes out at Harrow. "Adventure" (Of the "Maze of little tunnels all alike" fame), some strange game about controlling an eastern nation's grain supply, and an ASCII-based racing game. This would be in the early to mid-70s. First family computer was her luggable - I think it was technically called a laptop, but was the size of a reasonably big suitcase, with a orange-brown screen about the size of a modern mobile phone. I believe it was an IBM, but am not wholly sure it ran DOS. Thanks for making me feel a whole lot younger today. I didn't' get my first computer until 87 (i think, it may have been 88) and it was a commodore 64c. I remember they had an online community that I was always messing around in. Jim Kenzig http://ThinHelp.com wrote: > > Lol...
