Printer driver names, spacing, spelling, and capitalization vary with the various driver revisions. You need to match the driver name on the client device (case and spacing) to the NT server driver name. It takes some time to get them all, and HP in their infinite wisdom is constantly adding more. Another thing to check is stuck printers. If a user is not logged on and you see their printer in the printers folder on the server, delete it. They will not have permission to use that printer unless you do, or unless you assign them permission to do so. Assigning permissions however will stop the autocreation process for that printer. I check for stuck printers by viewing details in the printers folder. If I don't see the words "Auto Created Client Printer...", then I know it is a stuck printer and can be deleted.
