Why not back it up both ways?

Subject: [THIN] Moving the datastore

Hi All,

We are deploying some new SQL servers and I need to move the datastore to
them. According to the CTX documentation, I am supposed to backup the
database and restore it to the new server, create a new DSN, and then
DSMAINT CONFIG to make all the changes.. Any preferences as to method?
Should I use DSMAINT for b/u and restore, or should I use my normal backup
software?

adam
