There's pros / cons for either. If you use the local browser, you have to be sure that the local configuration and support, will support the use of the JInitiator app. And also, you have to accept either the loss of control over this local platform - or have some product or software managing this (you may have already). For use within a ICA / RDP session - for the plusses, you have the configuration and control of the app deployment being within you existing framework for ICA / RDP sessions (profiles, network / home directories, app publishing / deployment). As a negative, it's a Java application (which can always be a bit tricky from a terminal server / resources perspective), tends to need a bit of tweaking and configuration, and the last time I looked at it, used raw images (jpegs) as the images to construct the forms and window contents on the desktop - therefore breaking the compression cycle of the terminal server type rationale.
