We are using Citrix Metaframe XP with FR-2 here. Our Servers have 1.2ghz processors with 1gb of physical RAM. There is no less than 25gb of free local hard disk space on each of them. We are on a switched 100mbps Network, and monitoring the resources of the machine the CPU and memory usage is minimal. I am experiencing an issue with Windows Media Player playing sound files. We receive our voicemails in the format of .wav, and when opening Media Player for the first time, the .wav file will stammer and not be understandable at all. However, if I close it and re-open it, often times this will solve the problem. Logging out and coming back in will cause the issue to re-occur. This happens on Winterms, laptops, and PCs of all versions/OSes with differing ICA versions, all up to the most current. Also note, that we have five servers in the farm, and sound works perfectly on one, but not the others. I notice no significant configuration differences. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? I am also having a problem with Outlook 2002 SP-2 and Word 2002 as the editor locking up intermittently. I have just installed the WM_TIMER update from Microsoft which is not specifically for Terminal Services/Citrix, but regards the same symptoms. If anyone has an idea on this, I would be extremely thankful. Thanks in advance, - RL ********************************************************* This Week's Sponsor - ThinPrint Simply the best print solution for Citrix Metaframe and Microsoft Terminal Services! http://www.thinprint.com ********************************************************** For Archives, to Unsubscribe, Subscribe or set Digest or Vacation mode use the below link: http://thethin.net/citrixlist.cfm
