Many of the engineering/Division 1 schools in our state also "give" a laptop to each students. However, the cost is burried within the student's tuition, and a clause states that the laptop equipment is property of the school until the student graduates (his to keep). If he transfers or drops out, the laptop must be returned. -----Original Message----- From: Eduard L. However, there are strings attached, as always. We are a test site to see what it would take to do such a large project. Our normal school budget for the entire operations of the school is around $250K (classroom supplies, aides, copy machine, paper, etc.). Several school districts, such as High schools have a 1 Laptop for each child. Too bad the students can't take them home...hee hee. ed > -----Original Message----- > From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On > Behalf Of Angus Macdonald > Sent: Tuesday, June 24, 2003 1:54 AM > To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: [THIN] Re: Citrix and WLAN > > > Holy sh*t!
