This is correct... I doubt you'd be able to change this as People would be
able to gain the benefits of Citrix without having to pay for it.  Citrix is
more than just the ICA protocol.  Even RDP client gain benefits of
connecting to Citrix vs a vanilla TS server.. (CPU/Memory Management,
Resource Manager, Installation Manager, Print Driver replication, etc) so
why shouldn't they pay?

As stated in CTX104605 an RDP connection to a MPS 4.0 (also 3.0) farm
consumes
a Citrix license.

In environments where for example RDP is used for LAN comnnections and
ICA for remote offices this would mean a significant increase of
ICA licenses.

We inform customers about this,  are not very happy about this.

Are we the only one facing this $$ (extra Citrix licenses) issue ?

Is it possible to put pressure on Citrix to change this ?
