Hi Tom, It's possible the private certificate authority cert could be expired. If that's the case, you'll have to renew that and re-export the root certificate to send out to the remote users and get and apply a new private cert for nfuse.doric.au.com. Have a look at the root certificate you send out to the remote access users and see what it's expiry date is. Or if you're not sure, send me a copy (privately via email addres below) and I'll check it for you. It might be easier to go for a cert from a public CA (eg Thawte). Then again, one benefit of using a private cert is that if you don't have a copy of the private root certificate, you can't connect. If this is getting too complicated, just call Volante (08 9223 1234) or Cerulean (08 9261 8420) in Perth to help you out. regards, Rick Ulrich Mack Volante Systems rick.mack@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx ________________________________ From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx on behalf of Tom Flanagan Sent: Mon 3/10/2005 5:41 PM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: Certificates Thanks Rick/Mark I have followed your instructions but the expiry date on the new certificate is the same as the old one. Any ideas what this might be. Looks like the operational FQDN for you WI site is https://nfuse.doric.au.com. Please change all instances of "csg" to "nfuse" in the instructions I sent you. If you guys aren't using CSG, which may not be a good idea, then you'll have to assign a new certificate in IIS rather than reconfigure CSG. regards, Rick Ulrich Mack Volante Systems Level 2, 30 Little Cribb Street Coronation Drive Office Park Milton Qld 4064 tel: +61 7 32431847 fax: +61 7 32431992 rmack@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx <mailto:rmack@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Tom Flanagan Sent: Monday, 3 October 2005 4:00 PM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Certificates Hi How do I create a new certificate for users to access my WI 3.0.
