Special thanks to Chris Runk for leading a bird walk up Madera Canyon to
just past the pipe gate this morning. High lites:
Gray Flycatchers (x6)
Grace's Warbler (1 showed well)
Hepatic Tanager (male and female)
Broad-tailed Hummingbird (on nest)
Plumbeous Vireo (x2)
Total was 33 species by 10:30am.
Friday evening I had what may be a FOS Rufous Hummingbird at the visitor
center, a lovely photogenic male.
