[texbirds] Commons Ford Ranch Metro Park (Austin) - Big Day in the Park 2013

Commons Ford Prairie PRO, a non-profit organization, is holding a Big Day in
the Park 2013, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Sunday, April 7 at Commons Ford Ranch
Metropolitan Park, located just west of Austin, to continue to raise funds for
the ongoing native prairie restoration project in the park. Activities include
several birding (and plant) walks led by Byron Stone, Ed Fair, Diane Sherrill,
Lorie Foss and Shelia Hargis (although their walk is full) and others.
Tax-free pledges can also be made to the Wing Ding where we count all species
seen and heard in the park on the Big Day. For details, to register for a walk
or pledge to the Wing Ding visit www.tinyurl.com/BigDay2013. All activities
are free and no need to register unless you are interested in a specific walk.
Otherwise, come spend a beautiful day with us in the park, visit the many
booths and vendors, and help us count birds.
