My wife and I had a nice walk up on the Amazon Kingfisher today at 4:50 PM. Â
perched on ledge at falls on Zacate Creek for about 5 min, then flew down to
overhanging stick above the pipe. Â sat there another 5 minutes until 5:01 pm
when some kids came down to the creek to fish. Â flew off down towards the Rio
and not seen again. Â we also saw 1 Ringed Kingfisher, 1 Belted Kingfisher, and
3 Green Kingfisher.
