I just got back from the customers home. CX3416 checked good, replaced
it anyway. Qx3401 shorted C-E, front popped off. RX3406 burnt (beyond
recognition). Not sure if ICX3431 is dead, main fuse is still intact.
Does anyone have a good one kicking around so that I may compare pin to
pin readings? Is it possible that ICX3431 is still functional? How could
I check this? Thanks in advance.

David,
When you first check the set, with set off check for 130V at the
collector of horizontal output.. {I use tuner ground} if its there. The
22uf
and 100uf in the power supply should take care of this.. If the 130V is
missing you have other problems. Listed below are most common faults
CX34123 22uf/63
CX3416 100/25>>>sub to at least 50V
RX3404 180K 1/2W
QX3401 121-3401
IXC3431 223-28
If you want me to send a JPEG of power supply let me know..
Bob,
