Yes, this makes sense and I agree, although the Canadian government may
be thinking that if we have a separate system, then we would be less
likely to be intercepting US satellite signals, etc. . In other words,
more control over what we watch. I only heard of the possibilty of
canada using a "world system" on this list last week. Other than that, I
always assumed that we would use the USA system.
