Damon you might just have hit the nail on the head, thank you...  Can anyone 
confirm for me 
the value of R7726...  I'm guessing 2.2ohm 3w but the bandings look more like 
20 ohm and it 
reads 0.62ohms

That sounds more like the large resistors for the yoke's ground path are
open.
