Fellow techs...
I have a TVCR (Sharp 13VT-N100)
that came in dead except for a blinking
led on the front marked "TamperProof"?
I am familiar with RCA's unit so is this  
the same kind of parental lock?
 If so can someone tell me how to defeat it?
Manual is on order but I have a feeling I won't
be needing it this time!  Thanks in Advance...
