I wonder if it is the flyback. How old is this set? I had a similar
Sony, and I replaced the fuse with a slow blow one, and I could smell
the flyback burning.

It's an oldie! Fuse F1602 is blown, I believe it's off the +B
(regulator)? HOT is OK. I can't find any bad diodes or transistors. I
could use tips and/or a service manual to troubleshoot this problem.
