On the seperate "G" power supply board, found the usual shorted
Q602,Q602 (C4837) and open R607 (.1 ohm 1W).
After replacing those parts, I plugged the set in and heard a squeel
from the board. Quickly unplugged TV. My parts were OK. After
troubleshooting the G board I found a shorted capacitor in the smps primary:
C615 (393J 630) value was a .039@ 63V sony# 112972111. Replacment of
this cap restored normal operation.
