Techs,
This set came into shop with no vert. deflection, after replacing the vert.
output IC, and a shorted diode and open resistor in the voltage supply to the
chip, this solved the vert. problem. The set works perfect, until you shut the
unit off, and then you can here a faint ticking noise(tick,tick,tick) coming
from the power supply. I've checked transistors, etc. in the power supply, and
also replaced a SCR in the power supply thinking that may be the cause, but no
change. Anyone have any tips or sollutions to this ticking noise?
