I did that and you are right it works with the red anode wire pulled. You say repair the leak I don't see a leak but even so can you let me know in a little more detail. I have cleaned and refilled lots of Magnavox type due to the fluid getting merky but never had to repair a leak on an RCA. I am wondering why it arc's is it because there is a hole where the fluid is getting into where it doesn't belong?
