OK, that's not fair, answering your own questions! Just kidding. A 2SD2578 is 60w/8A/0.3 Tf. A 2SC5148 is 50w/8A/0.3Tf. It is an alternate number for the CTC203 and is also used in the CTC197 and ATC113CA. Either one should work, the only real difference is that the D2578 has a 8mm mounting tab and the C5148 has a 10mm tab. Neither one indicates a damper inside. John.
