I guess your going to need a service manual to figure this one John. Perhaps one of our very nice members could help you out in that department. They really are a bunch of nice people...:-) David Lessard Alexandria Electronics Ontario-Canada mrfixit@xxxxxxxxxxx -----Original Message----- From: techassist-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:techassist-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of John Florea Sent: Tuesday, May 13, 2003 8:31 PM To: techassist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [TechAssist] Re: RCA CTC167R Repost Ok, I checked the yoke, and it is fine. I had already replaced the thermistor with an RCA 207768. When I replaced all the parts, I tried bringing up the voltage on my variac, everything was fine. I got it up to line voltage, and the set started cycling on and off (3 times) then dead. My Resistor is toast again, but the hot tests fine. I don't have a print on this set, and I didn't get much sleep last night, so maybe I am missing something here. HELP!!!!!!!!!
