Thanks Dan. The problem was 2 shorted B+ diodes, I replaced them with NTE125's and when I turned it on they immediately shorted out again. I do have the schematic now so I will get back to it. = Max Bonnell Bonnell TV Robinson, IL Sender: techassist-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx From: webstertv@xxxxxxxx(Webster=A0TV) Date: Tue, Aug 3, 2004, 9:22am To: techassist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [TechAssist] Re: Philips TV/VCR Model CCC090AT01 - Chassis ? Dead Reply=A0to: techassist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Max, A shorted Vert. Output I.C. can cause dead set symptoms in Phillips/Magnavox combo's. Just unsolder the I.C. and see if it comes on with no Vert. Deflection. If so replace it. If I remember right the Vert. Output I.C. in the unit I had this problem with was a LA7837. Just something you may want to check before you get too in depth into the power supply circuit. =A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0= =A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0= =A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0= =A0Dan Webster =A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0= =A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0Webster's TV =A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0= =A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0Shullsburg, Wi. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Old TV Man" <mebonnell@xxxxxxxxx> To: <techassist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, August 02, 2004 6:50 PM Subject: [TechAssist] Philips TV/VCR Model CCC090AT01 - Chassis ?
