I just checked the tube seems O.K. I do notice the H.O.T waveform "trailing 
edge of the  at the bottom", is not square like most, it jogs up slightly. 
It may not be turning off properly. The print says, do not check the H.O.T 
collector waveform so the scope probe may be causing this condition. I am 
using a D1881 now it is getting a little hot, will let it run and see, may 
have to order original.
this customer is impatient ,
