Funny thing about the light bulb trick is that all that tells you is you
have a short. Some trick. I already know that most of the time. Question is:
What is causing the short? I need a bulb but not a light bulb. I need one of
those dark bulbs that you look down into to see the future. What are they
called?

HOT was shorted, sub HOT allowed chassis to start up but with a loud
snap and shorted the sub HOT. Now with a new FBT it shuts down due to
the high B+ but does not short the sub HOT. Intention is to not install
the new OEM HOT until the high B+ is fixed.
Does anyone have a tip?

Thanks,
