Dear Don...My First choice for semiconductors is B&D...On their website, they have datasheets that show pinouts & specs, as well as price & availability...They do show a 2SK332 that the datasheet shows as a square ic type shape with 3 leads out of each side, and it is available....give it a look at www.bdent.com also. it's not quite accurate that Radioshack offers NO support - they do, it's just that they don't know about it....go to the address below and you'll find Some info on Some models available for download...(click around there & look)...sorry to say, your STA2160 isn't there, but they did come close. Now...shhhh...don't tell radioshack that this info is available or they'll take it away. http://www.radioshack.com/ProdSupport/DocumentDetail/DocumentDetailIndex.asp?P =support_audio&D=3151&T=htm joe sopko consumer service s.euclid,oh In a message dated 9/22/2002 4:53:16 PM Eastern Daylight Time, hartstv@xxxxxxxxxxx writes: Unit was in ''Protect'' mode.Found finals shorted.Iam using 100 ohms > resistors across the E/B before I hook up the new o/p's,A1491&C3855's.All > other transistors in preamp ok.All voltages ok.The only way I can get it to > go out of Protect is to remove Q602L &Q602R.These are marked K332,it's a 6 > pin, what looks like an IC.It ckecks like a dual transistor,EBC-EBC.The K332 > is also marked on the PCB under the component. They are both leaky. Is there a > sub for these or are they available.Tryed Radio Shack,no go.....TIA...Don.. ------------------------------------------ To REMOVE your email address, click here: http://www.tech-assist.org/unsubb.html To CHANGE your email address, click here: http://www.techassist.net/forms/change.html ------------------------------------------ ***NEW*** Tips Added Instantly!!!*** Submit Repair Tips here: http://www.tech-assist.org/secure/tip/
