Would adding some more metal to the heat sink for this vertical IC allow the
IC to run cooler and therefore last longer?  I did this with a Panasonic 27"
vertical IC that was running at 150 degrees F--the extra metal took it down
to 126 degrees F.  By the way, is there a symbol on the keyboard for
degrees?
