[TechAssist] Re: I have just listed an original RCA HV splitter on eBay

May this please be the end to this thread, thanks.

A few days before I actually listed the splitter on eBay, I posted a
message to the list to get anyones opinion about posting it to eBay but
nobody sent me a reply to say that was either a good or bad idea, or to
say you didn't think that was fair. If someone would have offered me a
"reasonable price", I would have sold it without eBay. I didn't
out-right ask for anyone to buy it, because it wasn't on the 1st or 15th
of the month so I didn't want to post a thing for sale on the list.

Feb 7:

"There are a couple of 205064 splitters on eBay right now for $46.25 US.
You would have to email the seller to confirm they are OEM and not
replacements.

I have one spare 205064, brand new, sealed in box- original RCA part. If
I would put it on eBay, would any of you bid on it? and would you
consider a starting price of $48.95 US too high, considering it is not
available from distributors at the moment? (note that I would ask that
much to start because I would be risking the chance that I might need
that part myself before it is available again)

With it being on auction, the bidders determine the final selling price."
