[TechAssist] Re: Hitachi 61UDX10B, replaced HOT, only lasted 15 hours.

I used the exact same transistor, but not from Hitachi.  Maybe that is
my problem, but why did the original HOT fail the first time, and the
replacement last only 15 hours the second time?  I need to find the
cause of the first failure.  I am hoping it is not one of the picture
tubes arcing.

Probably just a fluke....

Did you use a good quality (oem?) replacement?

Install a fresh one & let her run again
