You can buy all sorts of adapters for USB ports. I use a USB to printer adapter when I want to print something from my IBM Thinkpad. Also bought real cheap a portable printer that prints on 4 1/4 inch wide thermal paper and has serial and IR inputs. Bought a USB to IR adapter and that will operate the printer.
