If the unit has a PIP module, check for bad regulator ic's on the pip
module. This is the 3 legged variety (TO-220 case) on the pip board. We
usually sub the module out with a non PIP test board for test.

Chassis CTC203AD5
No video, black screen - Screen will not even light up with
Screen control cranked up (550VDC at screen grid of CRT)
After replacing shorted HOT and regulator transistor (HV OK -
CRT filaments are lit)
CRT tests OK and screen DID light when I shorted Blue Out E-C
SMPS is OK - 138VDC & 16VDC
