David..
OEM is always safest...but the C1308K sounds suspicious.
Depending on the sets history of repairs...don't assume that the  
transistor (especially H/O) is the correct one.
Some shops Cross/Cross reference. Taking an ECG/NTE replacement and  
trying to cross reference to something they may have had in stock.
