Hmm, I think I replied to the wrong question. Meant to reply to the CTC131 question. Sorry. Gary THose sets back then didn't seem to be as critical for HOT subbing as the sets now do. That doesn't mean to say just anything will work either. I seem to recall using ECG389 in some of those older sets. Maybe look up the specs on that one. I doubt the 2SC1308K was an original because RCA always used their own house numbers on the HOT's.
