Yes you have to remove the bridge. Usualy, if the disc spins you dont have to replace the laser. You can, most of the time adjust the pot on the back of the assembly to increase the intesity. Thisa will fix most of the kss210 and kss213 and some of the others. Save your 12 or 20 dollars and try this next time. Good luck.
