As we operate in a Highways Agency TA89/04 is mandatory and as such any sites installed with existing traffic signal poles are subject to an application for a departure from standard. Due to this we are considering investigating the possibility of having an 89mm pole made up to consider its feasibility. My question is has anybody already looked into this and if so what were their conclusions or results.
