May be also worth checking on the original LED signal heads the Red was
not visible on the photo taken by the camera. I've not had any dealings
with them since, the site was in Bradford and the red aspects were
replaced with halogens, not an option I know with this though.

I have spoken to the supplier of our red light cameras regarding this

and it appears that the problem is associated with led heads.

They have apparently developed an interface but have to obtain the

necessary Approvals from the individual head manufacturers.

From previous experience this could take some time.

Is this simply because the camera opens its capture window on being

triggered by the red aspect mains level voltage?

If yes, can you not apply a very a simple solution to this?

Ken

Shouldn't that read

If you upgrade to an ELV controller the current camera on site wont

presently work.

It's an important distinction! And one that (you won't be surprised to

learn!) I have made to our safety camera boys!

.

My understanding at the moment is you can not upgrade to an ELV

controller if there is a camera

on site.
