Is this simply because the camera opens its capture window on being
triggered by the red aspect mains level voltage?

If yes, can you not apply a very a simple solution to this?

Shouldn't that read

If you upgrade to an ELV controller the current camera on site wont
presently work.

It's an important distinction! And one that (you won't be surprised to
learn!) I have made to our safety camera boys!

My understanding at the moment is you can not upgrade to an ELV
controller if there is a camera

on site.
