Sounds as if they have reverted to type. When multipoint was first used, the drop out rate was horrendous. When senior BT bod's were called in and confronted with specific records of spikes and drop-outs they get their people to sort it in a week or so. The problem is often that their field staff just test mean levels which doesn't identify the loss of a single bit or a spike, so the problem isn't seen, hence the NFF's. Most if not all systems can have their transmission monitoring report periods reduced to say one minute, which gives a print out which can't be argued with. Nail them to the wall!
