Thanks for the replies

Both parties are "investigating" the issue. I was keen to know if others =
had already come across this problem or preferably a solution.

We have installed the latest version of Siemens RMS instation software (v=
ersion 40). This has added support for the ST900 and ST900 ELV controller=
s (unsurprisingly) and also support for the TSEU/Microsense Sentinel.

No support for the PTC-1, and there isn't direct support for the TRX eith=
er, I'm afraid. The only option might be to configure a controller output=
as a "controller fault" bit, similar to UTC, and use the external inputs=
screen to dial up the instation if this is set. This could then prompt t=
he operator to dial up the site and interrogate the controller manually t=
o determine the nature of the fault. You extend this to cope with other f=
ault categories, such as controller lamp and dfm faults.

Tim,

I take it you've tried configuring it as a throughport?

Otherwise it may be that Siemens have yet to incorporate the controller i=
n their system. May be a call to Poole for clarification....

Hi All

Does anyone have a new PEEK PTC-1 controller fitted with a Siemens Gemini=
=3D3D
2 OMU linked to a Siemens RMS instation?

If so are you able receive faults from site and communicate with the cont=
=3D3D roller from the instation? If so can you please advise how it has b=
een co=3D3D nfigured on RMS?
