Graham

I had the same problem as the maintenance engineer in Hull, the fault is
the square prom housing either cracked in the corner which in turn loses
contact for a split second on the PCB, as you know it can be reset
umpteen times, I eventually placed a tie grip around the housing until I
had a replacement, I never changed in the end it solved the problem,
this info was given by a PEEK engineer when I eventually got fed up
visiting the same site over again. To reset the fault log I had to tap
on the prom so many times, this most probably made the contact.

Hope this helps

Subject: [TCUG] PEEK TSP CONTROLLERS - Any problems?

Hello all

We are experiencing continuing problems with Peek TSP pelican crossing.
Installed only last September, this has failed "umpteen" times with a
"CheckSum 8002 failure" and "Database Integrity Fail"

Supplied and installed by Peek themselves as part of a development
related scheme, this has been a thorn in our side (also of Siemens our
maintenance contractors) now for nearly five months. Peek have attended,
twice, and are to attend again.

Has anybody else experienced such problems with this controller type?

Regards

Grahame
