[TCUG] Going on holiday - again

John Silvester has found out the information I passed on about setting
vacation mode wasn't quite complete - I'll be letting the Freelists
organisers know (obviously they don't ever go on holiday). John's e-mail
(below) explains it all.

Peter,

For your information, the vacation facility requires you to advise of the
"time units" your specified vacation period is in. I received the following
today (labelled below "FIRST RESPONSE") which requires you to specify the
units your vacation duration is in (i.e. days, hours, minutes & seconds) -
bloody great these computers!!.

I have since sent a further message to suspend communications by placing  a
space and a "d" after the number of days (i.e. vacation 35 d) in the subject
box. This seems to have worked - SEE "SECOND RESPONSE" below.
