[TCUG] Re: ELV controller type approval

I can believe that as we have a dual 700 with a mod from AGD, as it kept
pinging off with a green conflict, due to a spike on switching. We were using
the new style Curvy nearsides from AGD. In fact AGD have yet to resolve this
matter with the 700 dual, as the suppression mods on the controller drive
outputs were meant to be temporary! So did wonder how it would get on with an
ELV controller!

Many Thanks

Probably because that is how Siemens applied for approval.

The AGD nearsides work with the 900. At first there were some lamp
monitoring issues which have been resolved.
It was something to do with a surge in the initial startup current used by
the AGD nearside unit which seems to be resolved.
You will need to talk to the Siemens and AGD techies to get the full
picture.

I've heard somewhere that the ELV 900 doesn't yet have type approval.
Has
anyone else heard this ?
