Dear All, Phil has asked me to post this on the freelists: On the 15th sept I posted an email on the freelists site regarding data= compliance. =0D Apparently the company concerned have googled themselves, found my posting= and are objecting to it. I have therefore just had a call from them= asking that the email be removed. =0D Whilst not agreeing with any their arguments, I have agreed to ask whether= such a thing possible. =0D So, besides the fact you will have all read it (or will now), is such a= thing possible? =0D It is a reminder to us all that whilst freelists is passworded, all of the= postings can be found via google - unlike another the cctv group I am in,= which is totally shielded from non-members and cannot be googled. =0D Phil I too have been contacted by the 'company' concerned and whilst I stand by= my original posting, I am happy for enquiries to be made as to if thread= might be removed from the list.=0D I have passed the original correspondence from the said 'company' to the= Information Commissioner for comment.
