Peter, On the sites with the AGD600's we have no problems with grey haired old ladies in grey coats. I have monitored the sites personally and they always appear to be working ok. No reported problems from any pedestrians either.=20 That doesn't mean to say that there is not the occasional cancelled demand but if it is happening no one reports it. The main point was that I wouldn't use the older style detectors for kerbside detection. =20 Scott Denyer IEng MICE Engineer - Urban Traffic Control =20 Phone 01738 476517 Fax 01738 476510 Mobile 07771 814816 =20 -----Original Message----- From: tcug-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:tcug-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Peter Jones Sent: 16 June 2004 11:11 To: tcug@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [TCUG] Re: American ped phases idea Scott, as regards the AGD600's, have you found any problems detecting grey haired old ladies in grey coats against a tactile background?
