usually it clearly states the maximum pressure on the sidewall, but for
recommended pressure, you'll have to check your owners manual, since it will
vary from car to car, and sometimes even front to back...

Subject: [tcb] Why?

Question:

What is the single most simplest thing you can do to improve your fuel economy,
safety and be "green?"

Keep your tires properly inflated.

Now, I challenge you to go out and see what is the proper pressure for your
tires.

Why! Is it so difficult to find the recommended psi on a friggin tire?

I had to get a flashlight and magnifying glass and spent twenty minutes
inflating the tires on two vehicles.

Why? Tire pressure should be the second largest imprint on the sidewall but
it's
not. It's in the legal fine print.

Arghhhh.
