Hey, I volunteer to check Shirley out! And Dennis, I don't know. I am teaching the second half of summer school; first time in 11 years to teach during the summer. Reason is to get a bonus for retirement. Come August 31 I'm off forever. Just going into VW restoration full time but I'll never ever have to grade another exam or listen to a student complain about their grade. Bottom line is: I'm probably not going to be able to make it this summer.

Fred already called for that spot under the carport next to Dan and Kat, but you can have the one directly behind Dan and Kat.

Did Shirley tell me that she was not coming? Something about x number of days off and she was going to Busses and Balloons with her days off? Somebody check her out please.

Duncan, how quiet do you want to be? There are places near the house that have activity but not much noise, like Shirley's spot (if she's not coming) behind where Trey will be, only about 40 feet from the house. There are primitive places with no H2O or elec that will be VERY quiet.

Sammy, are you driving a bus or trailering? Let's not get into it, I don't care, but are you needing a camping spot?

There are three spots around the fire pit that are up for grabs.

Since it is so dead quiet here, I suggest we talk about me. Well, not about me so much as Psycoblooie.

I guess we should try to make a rough guess as to who and how many will be coming. I know that it will be a very rough guess, but even a poor prediction will help to determine things such as, how many pork chops will we need for the Pork Chop Eating Championship or how much Jell-O for the Women's Wrestling Pit (more contestants means more Jell-O).

So, sing out if you are coming and how many do you think will come with you or how many you might invite.

Since we are not having the car show I am not sure of what committees are still working. Dan is head of the Steering Committee, although, he and Kat can't get here until the day of the party, so I'm not sure what all he might be steering. And Emily is Chairperson of the Trophy Committee. Yes, I know, if we aren't having a show why are there trophies? Well, there are going to be Lifetime Achievement Awards. I am going to get one and there may be others. And, of course the Champion Chop Eater and Jell-O Queen.

Dan and Kat have already picked their camping spot, under the carport (room for one more there) And Mark and Emily have picked where Steve and Sharon's bus was fixed last year (quite a view) Steve (Big Balls) and his wife and their infant will be in the trailer.

Does anybody else have a picked out spot?

There are maybe 12 or 15 spots around the house that have electricity and water. Then there are about 20 spaces with only water. I think it was Duncan who asked if there was going to be any "Quiet areas". There will be semi-quiet areas on on side of the main house (water and electric) and on the road near but away from the house are maybe 5 primitive camping spots for very quiet.

Even quieter, we own a one bedroom house at the corner where Beartrap Road meets Nob Hill (6/10ths of a mile from the main house) that is available. 5 or 6 busses can camp up there, although it is right on a fairly busy road. As many folks who want can fill up that house.

Across the street from the corner I have the garage (with the lift) that can fit as many as 5 busses inside in Air Conditioned comfort. And then there is a two bedroom house we own that we can fill up on a couple of acres of sloping grass behind the garage that can hold 4 or 5 busses in relatively flat ground with water and electric.

So we have lots of room.

YOU ARE ALL ADVISED TO BRING SOME GOOD JACKSTANDS. We will go around with a floor jack to level the busses THERE IS VERY LITTLE TOTALLY LEVEL GROUND!

Mark and Emily said that they are not coming. That's too bad 'cuz I was going to make him and his Snake Charmer Head of the Security Committee. And I guess that puts their primo spot up for grabs.

Brian has manly issues, he will be at a wedding of people he doesn't like for a couple who will get a divorce in a year. Wuss.

I would really like Everett to come (there may be a Lifetime Achievement award in it for him. Not my really big one, but a different one) He has already said that he will be working, so someone get ahold of him and force him to come.

Trey has to come so that we can all watch him crash into canyon walls on his bike and point and laugh.

I have some circle dirt race cars for Bodean to steal. (Of course the NASCAR hillbillies will make him squeal like a pig when they catch him).

Ronnie, I suppose, will be in Sparky, and there is the lift and all for when Mark needs to fix that engine. Hey, I forgot, Mark can't come 'cuz he has his own manly issues. Ronnie, I'd make sure he comes in case he has to rebuild Sparkie's engine again.

I don't know if Paul will stay here or not. He may go and sleep with Joe in a fancy ass hotel room. If Big Balls' wife and infant don't come with him y'all can have the trailer again. Paul could sleep in his truck bed tent, but we will have to remind him that the rain cover goes OUTSIDE the tent.

On second thought, Steve and Sharon should get the trailer if BBs family doesn't come . They could stay in comfort as a reward for an excellent Classic.

More to come. Get me those numbers.
