BTW: Freedom's on a 2-week vacation. Traveled to the the NAchez Trace via
Hwy 79 (stopped in Rusk, TX to honor the Columbia) and US 84 thru Lusianna
(damn dry counties!!!!) to pick up the Trace. THE TRACE IS
AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
No, let me tell you, "The Trace is AWSESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Spent a few nights with friends in the middle of TN eating cookies. ;) No,
not THOSE cookies. Well, okay, MAYBE those cookies. Exactly 1000 miles
door-to-door. Cindy drove Freedom while I rode Harley (my Honda's recently
christened name 'cause it's leaking oil). Took Cindy to Nashville today to
catch a plane so she can spend week 2 with the girls and I drove back across
the LONGGG state of TN to the Great Smokies. And more cookies.
Gotta go back to Pikesville for MY bike we 'cause Cindy trailered a buddy's
bike and I delivered it today over the hill. 2 mountain ranges and 6 HOURS
to go aprrox. 150 miles. One way. And back again to ride the Tail of The
Dragon: 318 curves in 11 miles. Honest. Nauseating in a car but can't wait
to hit it with the bike!
