Duncan: There are several azalea tours with maps that are provided by the Convention and Visitors Bureau. We will have these maps and brochures available in your gimme bags. In addition the Old Time String Shop, just one block north of the show on the square usually has some pickin going on with a bunch of blue grass pickers on Saturday. Also, one of the local restaurants is hosting a CrawFish Boil benefiting the American Cancer Society at Banita Creek Hall the same day which is just about walking distance from the show (maybe the equivalent of 5 blocks.) And for the blooms you don't want to miss walking through the Mize Azalea Garden located on University Drive on the SFA campus. It is covered in the maps and azalea guides of the CVB. --- On Mon, 3/15/10, j duncan <whocanduncan@xxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: From: j duncan <whocanduncan@xxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: [tcb] Nac Cruise? Or can handouts from the local chamber of commerce be made available? Last year everyone took off for the Ennis show and, well, I didn't make it to the earlier shows. I'd love to see the local sights. Be evven better if a local (Sammy!) could provide commentary on the local intrigue. You know, gossip. _________________________________________________________________ The New Busy is not the old busy.
